First Question of the Bible Was Not God

First Question of the Bible Was Not God

The first question of the entire Bible is one we will all be surprised about. That first question is in Genesis chapter three. That question came from the devil himself! Genesis 3:1:

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

It not only questions God, but it also questions God’s Word. The devil still does that today. Are you sure that is what God said?  Are you sure that is really God’s Word?  Are you sure that God really preserved His Word to be perfect and without error? The devil always had a plan.  His plan is to this day to pervert and change God’s Word.  Why? Because the devil is the author of confusion!  The reason why I stand on the King James Bible is because it IS God’s Word, perfect, preserved, without error, not just by faith, but by fact!  I have did enough in depth investigation on this topic to come to the conclusion that the Word of God is the King James Bible and that the rest of them are all corrupt.  One day soon I will through together a video series and explain why we can trust that the King James is the perfect and preserved Word of God with facts and proofs that cannot be refuted.

The first question is clear and the devil’s plan is clear. The devil has always been subtle and full of trickery.  He wants to confuse a soul into thinking that God’s Word needs to be biblically criticized!  In fact Jesus dealt with this exact issue in John 8 from the religious men of the Sanhedrin.

John 8:42-44 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. (43) Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. (44) Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Think about this.  What do we hear today?  I can’t read old English,  it is too hard to read. I want a Bible that is “easier” to read. Jesus asks,

“Why do ye not understand my speech?”

Are you smarter than a 5th grader?  That is the grade level the King James Bible is written in.  The more you read it the easier it gets.  Just like the more you read books the smarter you get and your word knowledge becomes greater.

The realization is this.  I don’t want to read God’s preserved Word.  I want a Bible that goes with what I think God is and not what God’s Word says God is!

The first question is important to understand. There will be more to come on this topic. In the mean time chew on this for a while.
