God has it all under control
It has been a challenging for all of us I’m sure this week but God has it ALL under control! There are times when we all don’t see His plan working because we are distracted by the issue that is set before us. I can think of the chapter in James where it states:
James 1:2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
We all deal with temptations, challenges and trials. Some are easy, some are hard, but whenever we are in the valley, there always follows a mountain top experience to a point that we look back at what we just went through, and see that it was not so bad after all. We are shown where God worked through our situation. God has it all under control!
During the storm!
What about DURING the storm focusing and searching for God in those battles? I learned that when my sister was severely burned last year. I made it an effort not to focus on the issue but to search where God was working in the situation and it absolutely blew me away. God put people in my life to minister to me instead of the other way around. I saw God answer prayer after prayer! What an amazing God we have!
2 Peter 1:4-7 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
If you are struggling today I am praying for you, and not just writing words on this page. Each and every one of you are important to me and not just a number. I will do my best to lift you up, to direct to guide and if I don’t have the answers I will get an answer.
Never forget that Christ is still in control. Christ is still on the throne. May your day and the rest of the week be filled with many rich blessings!
