REVIEW: Basic Principles of Biblical Counseling by Dr. Larry Crabb

This book is a must for those desiring to understand the Biblical Counseling concept. Dr. Larry Crabb is solid in his doctrine when it comes to explaining this topic. He is definitely considered an expert.  You will understand the basics on why a person is where they are at in their lives.  You will be revealed the real truth of the the lies that modern day psychiatry/psychology is really trying to do.

The solution to most if not all issues of life and the false statement “mental illness” is really just wrong thinking. This book explains why there is no such thing as mental illness because a person’s mentality cannot get sick.  There is no such thing as a chemical imbalance and that every issue whether it is depression, anger, anxiety and all other issues of life lead to one thing. The sin of wrong thinking.  He has countless examples and testimonies of people being cured and delivered from what the world calls mental illness.

What makes this book on biblical counseling better is the fact that it uses the King James Bible and that is what makes this book doctrinally sound. If you don’t have this book in your library, you need to get it.  In addition to his second book called Effective Biblical Counseling.

The bible colleges have got nothing to stand up to if they try and refute this book!  After reading this book it completely opened my eyes to the truth of the false hoods of secular counseling and what their real agenda was. It was all boiled down to how much money they could make.  This book will tell you what kind of side effects that these psychotropic medications can really do to the human body and how the Bible is the ultimate and final cure to any and all issues of life if one is willing to commit to the application of biblical principles.
